Erowid: The mother of all drug information sites. In addition to the broadest range of drug information on the net, Erowid is home to the Experience Vault (a huge collection of user's descriptions of their drug experiences) and the MAPS/Erowid MDMA References Database.



The Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Research works for legitimate scientific study of psychoactive drugs. Among their current victories is ongoing FDA-approved research giving MDMA to people suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.




BlueLight is a large, vibrant drug discussion board and community.



The Shroomery, the internet's mecca for lovers of psychoactive Psilocybe mushrooms.
Dancesafe Dancesafe, an organization committed to harm reduction in the rave community. Information on drugs, sex, and generally staying healthy at raves. was Nicholas Saunder's page, and was at one time the Mecca for people curious about MDMA. Unfortunately, with his passing the site has become virtually abandoned, but still contains a good aray of interesting and obscure information, advice, and accounts of use that you just can't find elsewhere, including an on-line book.


Julie Holland, MD is an advocate for MDMA medical research, and editor of the book "Ecstasy: The Complete Guide." Proceeds from the sale of the book benefit MAPS ongoing research into the use of MDMA for post-traumatic stress disorder.



The Center for Cognitive Liberty and Ethics is a legal study and advocacy group fighting for people's right to be free within their own heads, including the right to take (or refuse to take) psychoactive drugs.  Of special note, they host Ask Dr. Shulgin, a Q-and-A column by the famous (infamous?) drug inventor and author of PiHKAL and TiHKAL.
